Field service management without the paperwork.
Work orders, drag-and-drop scheduling, timesheets and a field app in one system — and compliance that raises its own jobs: services due by the meter, certs renewed before they lapse, inspections completed on the work order.
Launching in the first quarter of 2027. Register your interest and we'll keep you posted on progress.
The problems Crinn removes
Certs lapsing unnoticed
You find out when the auditor does.Crinn raises the renewal job weeks before the expiry date — so the certificate is current before anyone asks to see it.
Jobs through the cracks
Work gets promised and forgotten. The triage board keeps every open job visible until it's closed — overdue is a status, not a surprise.
Techs arriving blind
The detail is back at the office. The asset, its history and the checklist are on the technician's phone before they leave the yard.
Readiness
Service every 6,000 km. Renew 30 days early. Automatically.
Track assets, log meter readings, and let Crinn raise the next job before the deadline. Routine inspections travel onto work orders and get completed on the job — the inspection record and the work record are the same record.
- By the meter — services trigger on odometer or operating hours, not a guessed date.
- Before it lapses — renewals raised on a lead time you set, from motor tax to a cert.
- On the job — inspections carried onto the work order and signed off on site.
Built-in CMMS
A maintenance system, not a job list with assets bolted on.
Crinn keeps a full asset register — every machine, where it sits, what it's made of and everything ever done to it. The scheduling and compliance run on top of that register, which is why a job and its asset are never two separate stories.
- Every asset in its place — parent and sub-assets, sites and locations, criticality and condition.
- The nameplate detail — manufacturer, model, serial, commissioned date and warranty expiry.
- Its whole history — every work order, service and inspection against the asset, on the asset.
- Scan and you're there — the QR code on the machine opens its record in the field app.
Compliance & inspections
Whatever you're on the hook for, Crinn schedules it.
Emergency lighting this month, the gas check in March, the lifting gear before the cert runs out. Crinn doesn't ship a fixed list of regimes — you name the type, set the interval and say how much notice you want, and the job appears on the right asset, with the right team, before the date.
Crinn raises the job on time, carries your checklist onto it and keeps the signed report on the asset for as long as you need it. The statutory form itself still comes from the competent person who does the examination — Crinn schedules the work and holds the record, it doesn't issue the certificate.
You name the regime
Nothing is hard-coded. Set the compliance type, the interval in months and the days' notice you want, and Crinn raises the work order against the asset — assigned, prioritised, on time.
Proved on the job
Checklists in sections, with required items: pass/fail, readings, dates, photos and a signature captured on site. The result lands on the work order and stays on the asset's record.
The tickets your people hold
Technician certifications are tracked the same way — validity period and a warning before expiry — so you know who is still qualified before you send them.
And the one that happens every morning.
Daily walkaround on the vans, pre-use checks on the plant — done on the phone in under a minute, and it still works with no signal. A pass is a record you can produce later. A fail raises the work order itself, with the photo attached and the team already on it, so a defect never depends on someone remembering to mention it.
How it works
Every job, from raised to signed off.
Set up your world
Team, clients, assets and sites go in together — and we do that part with you.
Work flows in
You raise jobs, or Readiness and your routines raise them for you.
Schedule by dragging
Drop them onto technicians on the team Gantt, and they land on the right phone.
Close the loop
The work comes back signed off, and the record is complete without a sheet of paper.
Office & field, one system
One system. The right window for each person.
In the office
Crinn Desktop for Windows — the manager's command centre: triage, Gantt scheduling, approvals, the works.
WindowsOn site
Crinn Field Tech on mobile — the job, the asset and the checklist in the technician's hand. Works offline, with QR scanning, photo capture and deadline notifications.
Mobile · offlineFrom any browser
The Crinn web portal — check jobs, timesheets and leave from any machine, nothing to install.
WebEveryone sees what their role needs — Admin, Manager, Supervisor, field User — and nothing they shouldn't.
The rest of the office
Timesheets, leave, quotes.
Timesheets
Approval with overtime rules, and a PDF for every timesheet.
Leave
Requests, balances, bank holidays and shift schedules.
Routines
Recurring schedules that auto-generate work orders.
Quotes & clients
Quotes and the clients they belong to, alongside the jobs.
And you pick what you run. These are modules, switched on or off for your company — if you don't do timesheets, timesheets aren't part of your Crinn. Nobody gets trained on a tab you'll never use.
Your records are yours — work orders export to a spreadsheet, timesheets to PDF, built in.
Coming Q1 2027
Already running. Not yet finished.
The whole platform
- Work orders, triage and scheduling
- Readiness — meters, certs, inspections
- The mobile field app, offline-ready
- Timesheets and leave
Every one of these runs today — not a promise of what's coming.
Launching Q1 2027
- The system runs today; we're finishing it
- Register to follow progress, and to be told when it's live
- First through the door at launch
Crinn was built out of experience — and out of knowing what it costs when the system doesn't fit the work.
Straight answers
Asked before you have to ask.
Is Crinn a CMMS?
For the maintenance side, yes: a full asset register with parent and sub-assets, locations, criticality and condition; the nameplate detail and warranty dates; preventive maintenance scheduled by date or by meter reading; inspections and certificate tracking; and the complete work history on each asset. What it does not have is spare-parts and stock control. If your decision rests on parts inventory, Crinn isn't there yet — we'd rather tell you now than in a demo.
We don't need all of it.
Then don't switch it all on. Timesheets, leave, quotes, daily asset inspections, certification tracking, standing orders and PDF reports are each a module, turned on or off for your company. Turn one off and it isn't part of your Crinn — no half-used sections, and nobody trained on something you'll never run. You can turn it on later if that changes.
Does Crinn do invoicing?
Quotes, yes. Invoicing is on the roadmap.
We're a Mac office.
The manager's day happens in Crinn Desktop — triage, scheduling, approvals — and that runs on Windows today. A Mac version is on the roadmap, and we won't put a date on it until we can stand over one.
How does our existing data get in?
When you come on board at launch, we help you get your jobs, assets, sites and team set up.
Where does our data live?
In the EU, and it's built for EU data-protection rules from the start. Access is role-gated — technicians, supervisors and managers each see what their role allows, and nothing they shouldn't.
What happens to our data if we leave?
It's exported to you as spreadsheets and PDFs, and then deleted. Your records are yours.
What happens after we register?
An email when there's something worth telling you, and nothing else. There's no sales team here — nobody paid on commission to chase you, no sequence of follow-ups, no handing you to an account manager. If you end up talking to someone about Crinn, it'll be someone who builds it.
When can we use it?

Who's building Crinn
Built in Ireland, for teams that fix things.
Alan O'Doherty has spent 24 years in electrical work — industrial, commercial and residential — long enough to see how much good work gets lost to paperwork and missed dates. Crinn is the system he wanted and couldn't buy. hello@crinn.ie
