Privacy notice
Last updated 29 July 2026. This notice covers the crinn.ie website. It does not cover the Crinn application — that has its own notice, which you'll get before you become a customer.
The short version
- No cookies, and nothing in local storage. This site stores nothing on your device at all.
- No analytics, no trackers, no advertising pixels. We don't know you visited.
- Nothing is loaded from anyone else's server. No CDNs, no hosted fonts, no embeds — every file the page uses comes from crinn.ie.
- The only personal data we get from this site is what you type into the register-interest form — and we use it to tell you about Crinn, nothing else.
- We never sell or rent your details, and we don't pass them to advertisers.
1. Who we are
Crinn is field service management software being built in Ireland, launching in the first quarter of 2027. For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Acts 1988–2018, the data controller for this website is:

We are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer, and have not appointed one. Data-protection questions go to the address above and reach a person who can answer them.
2. What this notice covers
This notice applies to crinn.ie, our marketing website, and to the register-interest form on it.
It does not cover the Crinn application itself (the Windows desktop app, the Crinn Field Tech mobile app, or the web portal). Crinn is not publicly available yet. When it launches, customers will get a separate privacy notice and a data-processing agreement covering the data they put into the product — where we act as a processor on their behalf, not as the controller.
3. What we collect, and why
The register-interest form
If you fill in the form, you give us:

Purpose: to contact you about Crinn itself — for example as it approaches launch — and to gauge who the product is landing with. We will not use your details for anything unrelated to Crinn. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) — the tick-box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time (see section 8), and withdrawing doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew.
About the free-text box. Whatever you type there is stored exactly as you wrote it, and it is the one field where you control what we end up holding. Please don't put anything sensitive in it — and in particular, don't name colleagues, clients or sites. We're asking about your tools and your problems, not about people. If you'd rather not write anything, leave it blank; nothing depends on it.
We do not use these details to build a profile, we do not enrich them with data bought from anyone, and we do not make any automated decisions about you.
The spam trap
The form contains a hidden field that people can't see and bots tend to fill in. If it's filled, the submission is discarded. It collects nothing about you.
Server logs
Serving a web page necessarily involves your device's IP address reaching the server, along with the usual request information (the page requested, the time, your browser's user-agent string, the referring page if any). Cloudflare, who host this site, record this in standard server logs to deliver the site, keep it available and defend it from abuse.
None of it is written into the register-interest record. When you submit the form we store only the fields listed in the table above — no IP address, no user-agent, no referrer, no country.
Legal basis: our legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in operating and securing the website. We do not use these logs to identify or track individual visitors, and we do not combine them with form submissions. How long they are kept is set by our host — see section 7.
4. Cookies and local storage
This site sets no cookies. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Nothing at all is stored in your browser — no cookies, no local storage, no session storage. Close the tab and this site has left nothing behind on your device.
The only trace a visit leaves anywhere is the request itself, in the server logs described in section 3.
5. Who else touches your data
We use a small number of service providers (processors) to run the site and handle form submissions. They may only act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.

That is the complete list — there is no separate form-handling service, no mailing-list platform and no analytics provider. Beyond the above, we share your details with nobody: no advertisers, no data brokers, no "partners". We will never sell or rent them.
We may disclose personal data if the law requires it (for example a valid court order), or to establish or defend a legal claim. If we were ever acquired or merged, your data could transfer to the new owner — in which case we'd tell you first, and this notice would continue to apply until you were told otherwise.
6. Where your data is stored
Register-interest submissions are stored in a database created in Cloudflare's EU jurisdiction, which keeps the stored records on servers inside the European Union.
Cloudflare is a US-incorporated company, so although the data sits in the EU, its parent could in principle be asked to access it. We process under Cloudflare's data-processing addendum, which incorporates the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Serving the pages themselves is handled by Cloudflare's global edge network, so the request that fetches a page may be answered from outside the EEA — the same clauses cover it.
Separately: the Crinn application itself is hosted in the EU. That's a product commitment, and it will be spelled out in the customer agreement at launch.
7. How long we keep it
- Register-interest details — until 12 months after Crinn launches, or until you ask us to delete them or unsubscribe, whichever comes first. If the launch is called off, we delete the list.
- Server logs — for the period our hosting provider retains them, typically a short rolling window measured in days or weeks.
- Emails you send us — for as long as we need to deal with what you wrote about, and then a reasonable period after.
When a retention period ends, we delete the data or irreversibly anonymise it.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Be told what we hold about you, and get a copy of it (access).
- Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete (rectification).
- Have it deleted (erasure).
- Restrict how we use it while a query is resolved.
- Receive it in a portable, machine-readable format, or have it sent to another controller (portability).
- Object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Withdraw your consent at any time — for the register-interest list, that's a one-click unsubscribe on any email we send, or a line to hello@crinn.ie.
Email hello@crinn.ie to use any of these. We'll respond within one month. It costs nothing. We may ask you to confirm your identity, but only enough to be sure we're not handing your data to somebody else.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Irish supervisory authority:

9. Children
Crinn is a business tool. This site isn't aimed at children and we don't knowingly collect data about anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their details, email hello@crinn.ie and we'll delete them.
10. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted encrypted and written straight to our own database — they do not pass through a third-party form service. Access to that database is limited to the people who need it, which is currently a very short list.
The form is protected from automated abuse by a hidden field and by rate limiting at the network edge. We deliberately do not use a CAPTCHA: those load third-party scripts that watch you, which would contradict everything else on this page.
No system is perfectly secure, and we won't pretend otherwise. If a breach ever affects your data and is likely to put your rights at risk, we'll tell you and the Data Protection Commission as the GDPR requires.
11. Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal data, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant and we hold your email address, we'll tell you directly rather than quietly editing the page.
